Why is grammar, correct word use and proofreading so important?
- Readability: When an article or paper is full of grammar, spelling and punctuation mistakes, it can often be difficult and distracting to read.
- Effective Communication: If spelling mistakes, incorrect word usage and punctuation mistakes are frequent, they can often alter your work unintentionally. For example, when using homonyms, incorrect usage can completely change the meaning of the idea you are trying to present.
