Escape Tactic Puzzle Scholarship

This isn’t like most scholarships. There’s no essay to write. Instead, we want you to show off your creativity. Fill out the form below to apply, and as part of the application we’re asking you to submit your own puzzle to demonstrate your creative thinking skills. Here are some examples of puzzles to get the juices flowing:

  1. Paint something with a hidden clue
  2. Design a lobby game
  3. Craft blueprints for a mechanical solution to solve a task
  4. Construct a unique way to open a lock
  5. Creating a 2D word, image, or numbers puzzle

But don’t let that constrain your creativity. Your puzzle can be high-tech, digital, physical, or anything else. This is your chance to show what you’ve got!

Comedy Defensive Driving Scholarships

Design an advertisement that will educate the public about the dangers of distracted driving, and convince them with a clear call to action not to text and drive, drink and drive, eat and drive, or any other distraction you choose to focus on. You may focus on distracted driving as a whole, or pick a specific kind of distracted driving, but the message/focus of your advertisement must be clear. You will be judged based on the quality of the content, it’s usability as an ad (billboard, commercial, PSA, poster, radio ad, etc.) and how it effectively convinces drivers to stay focused on the road. We are looking for creative, and helpful ads with maybe a bit of humor or irony.
